1084 Western Petty with Torched Pink Stabilized Maple Handle
Note: this Blade has a slight blemish on the touchmark of the blade, where it was hot stamped twice, misaligned. This does not affect the performance of the knife, and the price is dropped accordingly.
Designed to compliment the larger chef knives I have been making for years, This petty chef is created with the same meticulous care as you would expect from its larger companion, offering a more compact and wieldy feel in the hand. Each blade is forged, ground, polished and the handles are sculpted in-house. Designed for total comfort and confidence, here are some of the features that make this knife special:
The blade is a 3/4 hidden tang design,. The blade is fitted with a torched pink curly maple handle, meeting up to a Corian bolster. The handle has been stabilized with resin, filling any voids and making the wood more dense, more durable, and more water resistant. The blade has a mirror finished choil and spine, rounded for comfort for those who use a pinch grip. The heel of the blade is just around 1.75 inches wide, giving surprising clearance from the cutting board, despite its size.
handle length: 120mm
blade length:155mm
blade heel height 45mm
spine thickness at base 2.8mm
